Male Enhancement PRP Therapy
What is Male Enhancement PRP Therapy?
Male Enhancement PRP therapy is a regenerative treatment that uses Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood to support blood flow, tissue repair, and healing within the penis.
This therapy is designed for men experiencing erectile dysfunction (ED), especially those who:
Have poor response to medications such as Viagra® or Cialis®
Prefer to avoid prescription ED medications
Have diabetes, neuropathy, inflammation, or vascular damage
Experience age-related erectile decline
Want a more natural or restorative approach
Continue to have ED despite testosterone optimization
Benefits of Male Enhancement PRP Therapy
Enhance erectile function and performance
Non-surgical and minimally invasive
No ongoing medication dependence
Little to no downtime
Improve blood flow and circulation
Uses your body’s natural healing properties
How it Works
A small sample of your blood is collected
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is separated and concentrated
Numbing topical lotion is applied and the PRP therapy is applied to the area
Growth Factors stimulate tissue repair and regeneration
What Does the Procedure Feel Like?
Most men tolerate the procedure very well.
Minimal bleeding is expected
Mild pressure or temporary tenderness may occur
The injections are quick and generally well tolerated, since numbing cream is applied prior to treatment
Significant downtime is not expected. Patient can resume sexual activities the same night.
After the Procedure
There are generally:
No activity restrictions
No required downtime
No special wound care requirements
Most patients return immediately to normal daily activities. Temporary mild swelling, bruising, or soreness may occur but usually resolves quickly.
Recommended Treatment Plan
Results are cumulative and may improve over time.
Recommended protocol:
A consult visit is completed with medical provider to determine if the patient is a good candidate for the procedure.
An internationally validated ED survey will be completed by the patient to quantify the level of dysfunction as a baseline.
1 treatment is scheduled and done initially, shortly after the consult. Usually, the procedure is completed on a different day, but exceptions can be made if the schedule allows.
Patient completes another ED evaluation survey remotely in 4-6 weeks. A 5 point increase in the score on the scale is considered a successful result.
If needed, due to a lower than 5 point improvement on the scale (including zero) or for patient’s preference to seek possible additional improvements, a second injection can be done 8 weeks after the initial treatment.
4-6 weeks after the second treatment, another ED survey would be completed once again remotely.
Up to 3 total treatments may be performed for the initial series, 8 weeks apart. A third injection is typically only recommended if there are some signs of improvement after two injections.
If noticeable additional improvements have not resulted from the third injection, compared to the second (results have plateaued), then additional treatments are not likely be beneficial. If zero improvement has occurred after 3 treatments of PRP, you may need to discuss other options with your provider.
What Kind of Results Can Be Expected?
Results vary from person to person depending on:
Age
Severity of ED
Vascular health
Diabetes status
Hormone balance
Nerve function
Lifestyle factors
Reported benefits may include:
Improved erection quality
Better firmness
Improved blood flow
Increased sensitivity
Greater sexual confidence
Improved response to intimacy
Patient satisfaction with PRP-based erectile therapies is generally high, though individual outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Some men notice improvement within weeks, while others improve gradually over several months.
Results typically last 12 months before treatment may need to be repeated. The range is 6-18 months.
What Does the Research Show?
PRP may improve penile blood vessel function and tissue healing
Growth factors released from platelets may stimulate angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels)
Some clinical studies demonstrate improvement in erectile function scores after treatment
Men with mild-to-moderate vascular ED tend to respond best
Published studies and reviews generally show encouraging safety and satisfaction data, though larger long-term studies are still ongoing.
PRP therapy is not considered a guaranteed cure for erectile dysfunction
Important Disclaimer
PRP therapy for erectile dysfunction is considered an elective regenerative procedure.
While many patients report improvement, results are variable and cannot be guaranteed.
This therapy is intended to support tissue healing and vascular function and is not a replacement for evaluation of underlying medical causes of erectile dysfunction.
